Job Description

  • Complies with all applicable company policies and procedures
  • Answers phones and receives order from referral sources
  • Coordinates all patient information and processes paperwork, including preparation of the file for the billing department
  • Do warranties on any equipment that is necessary
  • Assists in resolving customer equipment problems and documents problems in the complaint log
  • Performs over the counter sales
  • Monitors office supply levels and makes sure orders are placed in a timely manner
  • Develops and maintains working knowledge of current home care products, services, and all applicable insurance guidelines regarding eligibility for coverage and reimbursement
  • Monitors and records patient’s physician and referral source communications in the chart. Notifies personnel of a particular service or response, within the scope of their responsibilities, if required
  • Provides recommendations to callers and walk-in patients regarding supplies and equipment, which can be utilized to meet patient’s needs
  • Secures Certificates of Medical Necessity, with assistance from Marking Representative.
  • Responsible for follow up phone calls to new customers
  • Educate the patient on the equipment they are receiving
  • Schedule deliveries

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Insurance: 1 year (Preferred)
  • customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

License:

  • CNA (Required)

  • United States (Required)

Job Duties:

  • Answer incoming customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
  • Record customer information within our customer service database
  • Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company’s customer service policies
  • Other duties as requested
